Training Materials Licence

(International – Non‑Commercial – Non-exclusive – Personal – Group – No Changes Without Permission)

1. Ownership and Copyright

All videos, audio, text, notes, graphics, and other training materials (“the Materials”) are protected by copyright laws worldwide.

The Materials belong to Christ for the World a charity registered in England and Wales number 1097624 unless stated otherwise.

Any rights not clearly given in this licence remain with the Licensor.

2. Who This Licence Covers

2.1 The Licensor

The Licensor (owner of the Materials) is:

The Licensee is any person or organisation that accesses, downloads, watches, displays, or otherwise uses the Materials.

If the Materials are used within an organisation, that organisation is the Licensee.

3. Headings for Convenience Only

The headings used in this licence are for convenience only.
They do not form part of the licence and do not affect its meaning or interpretation.

4. Acceptance of This Licence

By accessing or using the Materials, the Licensee agrees to follow this licence.
No signed agreement is required.

5. What You Are Allowed to Do

The Licensor gives the Licensee a worldwide, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to use the Materials:

  • For non‑commercial purposes only
  • For education, training, or internal organisational use
  • Including downloading and group playback

This licence may be withdrawn if its terms are breached.

6. Non‑Commercial Use Only

The Materials must not be:

  • Sold or licensed to others
  • Used to charge fees or generate revenue
  • Included in a paid service, product, or programme

7. No Changes Without Permission

The Materials must not be edited, adapted, translated, or otherwise changed without the Licensor’s prior written permission.

8. Ownership of Approved Changes

If the Licensor allows changes to the Materials, all copyright in those changes will belong to the Licensor unless agreed otherwise in writing.

9. Attribution

Any permitted use of the Materials must include the following notice:

©  [The year of copyright], Christ for the World/CWEST  Used with permission.

The year of copyright can be found in the copyright statement of the materials

10. No Redistribution

The Materials must not be shared publicly, uploaded to public platforms, or redistributed in any form without written permission from the Licensor.

11. No Endorsement

Using the Materials does not mean that the Licensor endorses, approves, supports, or is associated with the Licensee or their activities.

The Licensee must not claim, suggest, or imply any endorsement, partnership, or approval by the Licensor because they use the Materials.

12. Third‑Party Content

Some Materials may include third‑party content. That content remains subject to its own copyright and licence terms.

13. Limitation of Liability

The Materials are provided “as is”.  To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Licensor is not responsible for any loss, damage, or harm arising from use of the Materials.

14. Ending the Licence (Termination)

This licence ends automatically if the Licensee breaches any of its terms.

The Licensor may also end this licence at any time and at its discretion, by giving notice to the Licensee.

Once the licence has ended, the Licensee must immediately stop using the Materials and delete or destroy all copies.

15. Severability

If any part of this licence is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.

16. Governing Law

This licence is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
